Description
This Mason County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Mason. Created in 1858, the county is named for Fort Mason, an Army post established there in 1851. A gold six-point star on a purple horseshoe fills the center of this black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top and a pointed base, finished with a gold merrowed border.
Center Design: A large purple horseshoe, open end up with its nail holes showing, frames a gold six-point star with ball tips. At the star’s center, a silver-gray ring surrounds a gold disc with a red Texas map, and a silver-gray banner reading SHERIFF in red crosses the middle.
Lettering: MASON COUNTY SHERIFF’S arches across the top in white block letters, and OFFICE sits in white at the base. The center ring reads MASON COUNTY and TEXAS in red.
Color and Thread: Purple and gold on black give the patch a bold, unusual palette, with white lettering and red accents in the star’s center.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Llano County Sheriff patch.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Mason County Sheriff’s Office design?

Yes. Purple and gold stand out well on black, as the purple horseshoe and gold six-point star do here, with white lettering around the edge and red in the center of the star.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.

Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Mason County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
