Description
This Orange County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the Texas county whose seat is the city of Orange. Formed from part of Jefferson County in 1852, the county is named for the orange fruit, which early settlers grew near the mouth of the Sabine River. An eagle above crossed U.S. and Texas flags and a STATE OF TEXAS seal fills the center of this royal blue shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top and sloping shoulders that taper to a rounded point at the base, finished with an orange merrowed border.
Center Design: A brown and white eagle with spread wings perches on two crossed gold-tipped flagstaffs that carry the U.S. flag on the left and the Texas flag on the right. Over the flags sits a silver-gray seal with a faceted gold star in its white center and green sprigs on either side.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large red letters, and a yellow banner above the eagle reads TO PROTECT TO SERVE in black. The seal reads STATE OF TEXAS, and ORANGE and CO. sit on two lines in red at the base.
Color and Thread: The orange border and red lettering frame the royal blue field, while the full-color eagle and flags give the center rich detail.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Orange County Constable badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.

What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Orange County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order an Orange County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
