The Palmer Police Department serves a small city in northern Ellis County on the I-45 corridor south of Dallas, between Ferris and Ennis. Its chief badge reverses the usual two-tone scheme: the body is polished gold, while every ribbon and the raised map of Texas at the center are struck in bright silver.
Shape and Base: The badge is a gold oval with a split-texture field — sunburst rays through the upper half and a stippled pebble grain across the lower. CHIEF arcs the crown on a broad silver ribbon in navy letters, with silver drape tails at the shoulders.
