The Palmhurst Police Department serves a small city in Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley, set between Mission and Alton on the north side of the McAllen metro. Its officer badge is an all-silver oval built around a raised map of Texas, with a dark-ringed state seal as the only color on the badge.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval with a split-texture field — sunburst rays through the upper half and a stippled pebble grain across the lower. POLICE OFFICER arcs the crown on a broad silver ribbon in black letters, with drape tails at the shoulders.
