The Pharr Police Department serves a city in central Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley, just east of McAllen and bordering San Juan and Edinburg along the US 281 corridor to the Mexico border. Its lieutenant badge is a gold oval with silver accents throughout, built around a sculpted modern building and a sweep of waving flags.
Shape and Base: The badge is a polished gold oval with sunburst rays radiating across the field. LIEUTENANT arcs the crown on a silver ribbon in black block letters, and a silver five-point star sits just beneath it at the top of the center.
