Description
This Camp County Sheriff’s Department patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the small Northeast Texas county whose seat is Pittsburg, in the Piney Woods east of Dallas. It combines a gold eagle, the American and Texas flags, and a state seal on a silver-gray shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a flat top, rounded upper corners, and sides that taper to a point at the base, finished with a black merrowed border around a light gray field.
Center Design: A gold eagle with outstretched wings sits on top of a round seal. The American flag waves out to the left and the Texas flag to the right, framing the seal. The seal has a gold rim and a blue band lettered STATE OF TEXAS in gold around a blue center, where a gold five-point star sits inside a green wreath tied with a small white ribbon.
Lettering: CAMP COUNTY runs across the top in bold black block letters. SHERIFF’S arches beneath the seal and DEPT. sits on a final line near the base, both in black.
Color and Thread: The light gray field keeps the background calm so the gold eagle, the red, white, and blue flags, and the blue seal stand out — a patriotic design with clear, readable black lettering.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Camp County Sheriff badge.
