Description
The Mount Pleasant Police Department serves the seat of Titus County in the pine-and-lakes country of Northeast Texas, between the Sulphur River bottoms and the reservoirs that ring the city. Its officer badge maps that geography in enamel: a flag-filled Texas carrying the city monogram, a pine, and water lines worked into the blue.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval with fine pinstripe rays and cross-hatched accents at the border points. A gold MOUNT PLEASANT arc crowns the badge with POLICE curving beneath it, both in black letters.
Center Design: The map of Texas spans the center, enameled as the state flag — and inside it, a navy letter M and letter P flank a green pine tree standing at the heart of the state, with wave lines rippling through the blue field below the M.
