Description
This Coryell County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Central Texas county west of Waco whose seat is Gatesville and whose cities include Copperas Cove. It sets a gold sheriff’s star between the U.S. and Texas flags on a wide tan patch.
Shape and Border: The patch has a wide arched top and sides that angle in to a gently curved base, with a tan field framed by a black merrowed border around the full edge.
Center Design: A large gold five-point star with ball tips fills the middle of the patch, outlined in a darker gold. The U.S. flag flies to the left and the Texas flag to the right on gold poles with ball finials, both set behind the star. At the center of the star, a tan ring surrounds a white five-point star inside a green wreath, tied at the base with a small red bow.
Lettering: CORYELL runs across a tan scroll banner over the upper arms of the star, and COUNTY sits on a matching banner across the lower points, both in black letters. The ring of the seal reads SHERIFF’S across the top and OFFICE along the bottom, also in black.
Color and Thread: Tan and gold give the patch a warm base that suits a sheriff’s uniform, while the red, white, and blue of the flags and the green wreath add color around the center star.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Coryell County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Coryell County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Coryell County Sheriff’s Office design, including the gold star set between the U.S. and Texas flags, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a patch use a tan background like this one?
Yes. Tan and khaki twill are common on sheriff’s uniforms, and a tan base like this one pairs well with gold thread and black lettering. The background can also be stitched in brown, navy, green, or black to match your uniform.
Can a sheriff patch be made in a wide shape like this one?
Yes. A wide patch with an arched top and angled sides, like this one, leaves room for flags and banners on either side of the star, and the overall size can be set to fit your sleeve.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Coryell County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Coryell County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
