Description
This Crosby County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the South Plains county east of Lubbock whose seat is Crosbyton. It is a clean three-color design, with a Texas outline drawn in a thin blue line around a white star on a black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a black shield with an arched top, rounded shoulders, and sides that curve to a rounded point at the base, finished with a bright blue merrowed border around the full edge.
Center Design: A large outline of Texas fills the middle of the shield, drawn as a single thin blue line with the inside left black. A white five-point star sits at the center of the state.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top of the shield in white block letters. CROSBY curves down the lower left side and COUNTY curves up the lower right, also in white.
Color and Thread: Black, white, and blue are the only colors on the patch. The blue border and the thin blue outline of the state frame the white lettering and star, giving the design a crisp, modern look that reads clearly on a uniform.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Crosby County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Crosby County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Crosby County Sheriff’s Office design, including the thin blue Texas outline around the white star, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a state outline be stitched as a thin line instead of a solid fill?
Yes. A state can be stitched as a single thin outline, as Texas is here, so the background shows through and the star or seal inside it stands out. A solid fill in one color or in flag colors is also available.
Can a patch be made with only three thread colors like this one?
Yes. A three-color design like this black, white, and blue patch keeps the look simple and easy to read at a distance, and any three colors can be paired the same way to match your uniform.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Crosby County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Crosby County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
