The Oak Point Police Department serves a lakeside town in Denton County on the east shore of Lewisville Lake, between Little Elm and Cross Roads north of Dallas. Its officer badge puts the town on the metal as a scene: sunrise over the water, a pier reaching into the lake, and oak trees standing on the point that gives the town its name.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval with POLICE OFFICER arcing the crown in black block letters and blank ribbon tails draping the shoulders. The upper field opens into sunrise rays breaking over the horizon line of the lake.
Center Design: A sculpted lakeshore scene fills the center in full relief — a figure seated at the water on the left, a wooden pier stretching out on the right, and oak trees framing both edges of the shoreline.
